Yay, it’s finally warm out, but this comes with a bittersweet situation for the general population, including myself! With the toasty weather comes the nasty allergens in the air that create a slew of irritating allergy symptoms.
There are various ways your allergies can present themselves, but the most irritating one for me is the darn itcy eye. I could care less if I have some red eye issue going on (look more like pink eye symptoms if you ask me). I cannot stand when I feel like the only way to relieve my itchy, watery eyes is to dig them outta my face!
Okay, maybe that’s a little extreme, but dang those symptoms are annoying!
Instead of digging my eyes out, I reached out to find some help from the OTC eye drops that are available to provide relief for eye allergy symptoms (aka allergic conjunctivitis).
My eye drop of choice: Zaditor.

So, just a quick recap in words (the video is a bit more detailed!):
1. Zaditor is an antihistamine AND mast cell stabilizer eye drop used to treat mild to moderately severe eye allergy symptoms (i.e. itchy, watery eyes that are most likely irritated and red).
2. Put 1 drop of Zaditor in each eye twice daily, every 8 to 12 hours. You must take out your contacts to use this product and make sure you don’t put them back in for at least 10 minutes.
3. Zaditor is great for short-term and long-term use, unlike the other available OTC eye drops which should not be used for more than 3 days.
There you have it…Zaditor!
